Born April 11, 1974 - Canadian actress and model.
In one of the local cinemas, 17-year-old Helfer was noticed by modeling agent Kelly Straight and offered her a job in the modeling business, after which she moved to New York.
In 1992, she won first place in the Ford Models Supermodel of the World Contest and was signed to Elite Model Management. Tricia has featured in fashion shows for fashion houses and famous fashion designers, including Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Giorgio Armani.
Helfer began appearing on the covers of glossy magazines, in 2005 she became the “girl for the calendar” of Maxim magazine, and in 2007 she took 57th place in its top-list “Hot 100 Women” .
In New York, Helfer has become the host of Ooh La La, a Canadian television program covering the world of fashion. Realizing that she could work with a camera, Tricia moved to Los Angeles in 2002. Continuing to work as a model, she decided to try herself in the cinema. She played her first role in Jeremiah and later in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation .
In 2003, Helfer played the Caprican Six (a model six humanoid Cylon robot) in Michael Rymer's sci-fi two-part television movie Battlestar Galactica, which then grew into a major television series, in which Helfer was also a major star. This role brought her fame and the title of sex symbol. The actress collaborated with Electronic Arts, the creators of the game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, played the role and voiced the character Kilian Katar in the famous strategy, with Blizzard Entertainment, voicing Sarah Kerrigan in the equally famous strategy StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, as well as BioWare, voicing EDI - Artificial Intelligence in the award-winning Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 games.
In 2013, Helfer stars in the ABC series Killer Women.
