I spent my childhood reading books and one day I realized that I wanted to write novels myself. At the age of 19, after graduating from a French school, he went to the United States. He lived for several months in New York, making a living selling ice cream. When he arrived home, the plan of the novel was already in his head. Returning to France, he earned a degree in economics and began teaching economics in high school. Skidamarink, the first thriller published in 2001, is about the theft of a portrait of La Gioconda from the Louvre. He is # 2 in France for books sold. Today he has sold over 32 million copies of his books, which have been translated into 40 languages. Films have been made on two of them, two more works are in the process of adaptation.
