Born August 31, 1981 - Canadian actor, screenwriter and director.
Studied at the Ryerson Institute of Sociology, attended Circle In The Square drama school.
A month after graduating from high school, director Katherine Bigelow hired him to film K-19, starring Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson. Close played the role of Victor, a Russian sailor. The first main role was Oliver Twist in the 2003 film adaptation of the work of the same name by Charles Dickens Twist. This was followed by supporting roles in the films Six Demons by Emily Rose (Emily Rose's boyfriend) and the video The Plague. In 2007, Joshua landed the lead role (Jason Creed) in George Romero's film Diaries of the Dead. In the same role, he appeared in Survival of the Dead 2009. Together with his younger brother, Justin, he wrote the short film "Short on Love" in 2009. Together they wrote the story "In Their Skin", which formed the basis for the film Dubbed 2012. Joshua himself played a major role.
