Born January 10, 1974, Masterton, New Zealand is a New Zealand actor, screenwriter, producer and director.
In his hometown, the future actor attended Macoura College. After graduating from this institution, Jemaine moved to the capital of New Zealand, Wellington, where he entered the University of Victoria. There Clement studied drama and cinema, and over time met a friend for many years - Taika Waititi. Together they formed a comedy duo that became famous throughout the country. Jemaine made his film debut in 1996 with a cameo in The Adventures of Enid Blyton.
