Born 1950, Toronto, Canada is an American film and television producer and screenwriter.

Wernick has produced several networked reality shows on ABC.

Wernick received three Emmy awards for his work on TV news, which included KVOA, KOLD, KTVK, KSL and KCAL.

Reese and Wernick went to high school together in Phoenix, Arizona.

Reese and Wernick partnered in 2001 to form Reese Wernick Productions, an entertainment creation and production company in a variety of fields.

Paul Wernick is the writer and executive producer of Deadpool, along with partner Rhett Reese.
