Born 12 December 1952, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England - English actress.
She studied first at Alster Grammar School, then at Rose Bruford College, which she combined with work at the National Youth Theater.
Started acting in films and TV shows in 1973. However, Sarah had her first significant role only in 1978 (the kryptonite Ursa in the film Superman and Superman 2). In 1984, she played the evil Queen Taramis in the fantasy film Conan the Destroyer. In 1983-1985, the actress participated in the creation of the soap opera Falcon Crest. In the future, the actress has repeatedly starred in science fiction, fantasy films and television series.
In 2003, the actress returned to the UK, where she began to collaborate with the BBC, taking part in the creation of radio plays.
From 1981 to 1984, Sarah Douglas was married to American actor Richard LeParmentier.
