Born February 17, 1963 - American stand-up comedian, film and dubbing actor and radio host. Educated at Baptist College, then studied for a semester at the University of Nebraska, but then was expelled and decided to become a comedian. Throughout his career he performs under the stage name "Larry the Cable Guy" and appears before the audience in the form of a typical redneck, speaking with a strong southern accent (while trying to talk to him even offstage) and in his performances often touching upon all kinds of acute political and social Problems. Two albums with his comedy performances, Lord, I Apologize (2001) and The Right to Bare Arms (2005), are gold-certified in the US.
He is married with two children and owns his own farm. He is actively involved in charity work, donating, for example, $ 5 million to a children's hospital and regularly helping a school theater group in his hometown, where one of the streets is named after him.
