She starred in such films as "Supernacho", "Girl from the Water" and "We were accepted!" She appeared regularly on ABC's Come On, Ted, and later on Desperate Housewives as Carmen Sanchez. Despite the fact that Jimenez starred mainly in episodic roles, it was this role that brought her popularity.
She appeared as a character named Virginia in My Life with Morissey. She currently plays a supporting role as Rose in Raising Hope and also stars in The Last Real Man as Blanca, Baxter's housekeeper.
