Born April 19, 1958, Montevideo, Uruguay - Uruguayan cameraman, director, screenwriter and actor.

In 1970 he came to Brazil.

Graduated from the High School of Cinematography in Sao Paulo (1972-1975). He started as a cinematographer of advertising and music videos, documentaries. World famous was his work in the film Fernando Meirellisha City of God (2002).
