Born July 10, 1983 in Tehran - Iranian theater and film actress, daughter of director Behzad Farakhani and sister of actress Shagaye Farakhani.
Golshifte Farahani began acting at the age of six, and at 14 starred in her first film and immediately won the title of Best Actress at the Tehran Fajr Film Festival. Since then, she has starred in 15 more films, almost all of which have won awards at various film festivals. One of the last films, "Santuri", where she starred as the wife of the main character - a musician addicted to drugs, became the peak of her popularity, despite the fact that the film has not yet been released to a mass screening.
In addition to working in films, Farakhani is an activist in the environmental movement.
