Born June 20, 1972, Munich, Bavaria, Germany - German actor, screenwriter, director and composer.
Since school, Simon started working as a videographer on the set. At the age of 13, he wrote his first play, which he later staged on the school stage. After school, Ferhoeven entered the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York. After studying at the Institute for only a year, Simon entered the Tisch School of Arts, the department of directing. After that Simon studied music for films at Berkeley for a year.
After graduation, Simon took part in various theatrical performances and began to shoot music videos. His debut was the film Break Out! Simon's next directorial work was Men in the City, for which he received the Jupiter Award for Best Feature Film.
In 2011, Simon directed the sequel to Men in the City 2, starring Til Schweiger. And in 2016, the director made a horror film called Add as Friend.
