Born into the family of a Puerto Rican and a Soviet Jewess. Mother is a school teacher, father is a military man, a Vietnam War veteran. Started doing street magic in 1997. His show on ABC immediately caught on. Since 1999, Blaine has periodically shown more grandiose miracles. On July 11, 2010, David Blaine launched his personal blog on his official website
