Jamie has five brothers and a sister, also an actress - Anastasia Griffith. Thanks to his parents, he has triple citizenship - British, Irish and American. Graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) .
Bamber married actress Kerry Norton in 2003. They have three daughters: Isla Elizabeth Angela Griffith (born in 2003), twins Darcy and Ava (born in 2004). Kerri Norton has appeared in several episodes of the Starcruiser Galaxy remake as Paramedic Layne Ishay .
