Born November 16, 1967 in San Francisco, California, USA - American actress.
She is best known for her role as Denise Huxtable Kendall in the hit sitcom The Cosby Show, where she played the daughter of Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad. She received an Emmy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Television Series in 1986 for her role in the series, and left the following year to star in his spin-off Underworld. In the same 1987 she played the main female role in the film "Angel Heart" with Mickey Rourke and received a nomination for the "Saturn" award. Due to pregnancy, she had to leave Underworld after one season, and the following year she returned to The Cosby Show, but was fired from it in 1991 due to "creative differences" .
In the following years, Bonet's career began to decline and she began acting in low-budget television and films, an exception to which was her role in the 1998 film Enemy of the State opposite Will Smith. In 2000, she appeared in the film Fanatic, and in 2003 in the film Bikers. In 2008-2009, she appeared in several episodes of the TV series Life on Mars.
