Born 5 July 1971, UK - English film director and producer.

James' first steps were taken on television, when in 2004 he directed (with Barneby Southcombie) the adventure comedy series Top Buzzer. Four years later, in 2009, a new British TV series, Free Agents, was launched on television, starring Sharon Horgan and Stephen Mangan, written by Chris Neal, in which Griffiths directed all the episodes. In 2010, the director directed the television drama The Royal Wedding starring Jacob Anderson and Kevin Bishop, after which he returned to filming the series.

In January 2011 a new comedy series with Matt LeBlanc, Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greg appeared on British television screens. James directed several episodes of the series. And that same year, he directed the television series All Night Long, starring Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph.

On February 13, 2014, the premiere of the first feature film by James Griffiths - the comedy "Dance From Here!" written by John Brown and Nick Frost, who also starred (Bruce). Rashida Jones, Chris ODown, Ian McShane and many other actors worked with him on the set.

In 2014, James Griffiths co-directed the American comedy series Blackish, starring Anthony Anderson, in which he also executive produced the first episode of the tape.
