Wayne Allwane - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, Actor.
Born February 7, 1947 - American voice actor, editor, noisemaker. He worked primarily for The Walt Disney Company. From 1977 until his death, he voiced Mickey Mouse in cartoons, replacing Jimmy MacDonald, who in turn voiced this character from 1947 to 1977, and before that, from 1928, personally by Walt Disney himself. He first appeared on the screen at the age of 7 in the House Party program. At school, he created his own musical group, The International Singers, which performed with success within California. Recorded with famous performers Bobby Winton and Dobie Gray, was a member of the group Arrows.
In 1991, he married the voice actress Russi Taylor, who has been the voice of Minnie Mouse since 1986, and lived with her until his death in 2009. In 2008, both of them received the title of "Disney Legends" .
Wayne Allwine passed away on May 18, 2009 from diabetes mellitus complicated by acute myocardial infarction.
