Born July 11, 1964, New York is an American film director, actor, producer, and screenwriter.
Greg Mottola grew up in Dix Hills (New York, USA) in a Catholic family of Irish-Italian descent. He earned a degree in art from Carnegie Mellon University and a degree in film from Columbia University.
In 1996 he wrote and directed the independent film Day Travelers. Then he moved on to filming for television, directing several episodes of the series "Undeclared" and "Arrested Development". Then he returned to full-length films and directed Superpeers in 2007 and Park of Culture and Leisure in 2009.
