Born February 1, 1942, Colvin Bay, Wales - British actor, film director, screenwriter and composer, children's writer and popular historian.
Studied at St. Edmund Hall College, Oxford. In 1965, together with his friend Michael Palin, he organized the television "The Love Show", followed by scripts for other television shows "The Kathy Kirby Show", "Late Night Line-Up", "Complete and Utter History of Britain" and so on (some co-authored with Palin). But most of all Jones glorified the comedy show "Monty Python".
