Has been filming since the 90s, but gained popularity after his role in the TV series Sons of Anarchy. Emilio Rivera is of Mexican descent but was born in Texas. Over the years, he has become one of the most successful Latin American actors.
Emilio grew up in a large family of seven children, and when he was three, the family moved to Los Angeles. While Rivera was studying acting, pursuing his dream, he had to work as a mechanical engineer.
Emilio Rivera's first role was in the TV series The Renegade opposite Lorenzo Lomans. In 1997, Rivera starred in the successful film Prison in Air, starring Nicolas Cage.
After a successful role in the series "Sons of Anarchy", Emilio Rivera was invited to the rating series "Terminator: Battle for the Future", "The Mentalist", "Lie to Me", "Southland". In the series about the zombie apocalypse "Nation Z" Rivera plays a key role.
