Born November 30, 1933, Shanghai, China is a Chinese actress, director, educator and writer.
Cai Chin is the third daughter of legendary Peking Opera artist Zhou Xinfang. She became the first Chinese student to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She later received her master's degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
During her fifty-year career, Chin has appeared in theaters on three continents (Asia, America and Europe), including stages in London's West End and Broadway.
Cai Chin is a member of the British Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
