Olga Kuznetsova and Ekaterina Smeyukha in 2006 not only changed their names to sonorous Slava and Victoria. With the light hand of producer Yuri Nikitin, Ukrainian show business was then replenished with a new group of NeAngely. Musically, the duo adheres to the pop direction, the language of the songs is Russian, the line-up has never changed.
The group's discography consists of two albums. The debut titled "Number One" brought gold along with a sales figure of over fifty thousand copies. Eleven compositions, which were released on one disc in December 2006, made up the entire repertoire of the group for a long time. That, however, did not prevent the NeAngels from successfully conquering the highest steps of various charts. The words of the songs "Yura, forgive me" and "You are one of those" did not know at that time unless a person who does not have a radio, does not use public transport (route taxi drivers love to keep passengers informed about all musical novelties) or fundamentally does not listen to singers with in low voices. Victoria's contralto and Slava's mezzo-soprano at first aroused suspicion that male voices were hidden behind beautiful female faces. But this very fact, intriguing and controversial, and was a godsend and super luck of the producer. Low female voices became the hallmark of the group, what allowed them to stand out at the beginning of their career. This remains the highlight of the duet to this day.
You can watch NeAngely not only in video clips, but also in gloss, the girls have twice adorned the cover of the cult magazine PLAYBOY (2006, 2013). In general, 2013 became a landmark year for the duo. In May, their first solo concert took place, and in September their second album "Roman" was presented.
The personal life of girls is rather stormy and is not a "secret behind seven seals." So, Slava got married for the second time in 2014 and gave birth to a son in December. Victoria has not yet tied the knot, but is dating a permanent boyfriend.
NeAngely decided to celebrate 2015 with the Ukrainian DANCE ROMANCE TOUR. In February-March, fans of four cities, including Kiev, were imbued with dance versions of already familiar hits. Such an active concert program should be continued at the end of spring. In May-June, the girls will go on another tour with ROMAN TOUR.
