Studied at the Coopers Company and Coborn in the Mile End.
After graduating from high school, the future actor entered the Northampton Institute, where he studied to be an automotive engineer, but a year later he dropped out and went to work as a janitor at the FW Berwick and Company auto repair shop in Balham, where he received two pence an hour. He quickly rose through the ranks to become an auto mechanic, and when the company began to cooperate with the Anglo-French firm Sizaire-Berwick, Warner was sent in this position to Paris in August 1913.
World War I found the 18-year-old Warner in France, where he remained as a driver with the British Royal Flying Corps. In 1918 he received the Medal of Commendation. After the war, Warner returned to England, where he began trading in automobile engines.
In the late 1930s, he radically changed his life. He abandoned cars and began performing in music halls and on the radio. In 1943, the 48-year-old actor first appeared on the screen - he immediately performed the main role in the film "The Talking Mannequin". Since 1946, he began to appear regularly in films, and since 1950 - on television, and his acting career continued almost until his death: the last film with Jack Warner was released when he was 84 years old.
In 1965 Warner was awarded the Order of the British Empire. In 1973 he received the symbolic title of "Free Man of the City of London". In 1975, Warner's autobiography, Jack of All Trades: The Autobiography of Jack Warner, was published.
