Born August 10, 1968 in Bloomington, Minnesota, is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, animator and voice actor.
Peter grew up an introvert who preferred to spend time alone.
The most famous films he has worked on are Monsters, Inc., Up, Puzzle. He is also a key figure and employee at Pixar Studios. He was nominated six times for the Oscar, three times for the Annie Awards, two of them, and once for the BAFTA Children's Film Award (won) and the Hochi Film Award (won).
Pete Docter is an anime fan and worked with Miyazaki Hayao at one time. He calls himself "a kid from Minnesota who loves to draw cartoons." He joined Pixar at the age of 21.
