Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Federal Way, Washington, USA, where he attended a local high school. Gloria's mother at that time owned a hairdressing salon, father George McGrady worked as a mechanic for a state airline. After leaving school, the young man studied at the university and studied business administration. Michael did not plan to become a lawyer and work in his specialty, worked for a short time at a bank, and soon his sister passed a competition for a scholarship to study at a local acting school.
