Born April 22, 1967 - American actress.
Cheryl spent her childhood in Boulder (Colorado, USA). As a child, she dreamed of becoming a dancer, but she had to leave dancing due to several injuries and operations. At the age of fifteen she played in the school production of the play "The Bad Seed". In 1985, after graduating from Fairview High School, she entered the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena. Then Cheryl moved to Seattle, where he began to work in the theater and after a while met director David Lynch. Moves to Los Angeles in 1989.
Cheryl made her film debut in 1990 with a cameo role in the comedy director Lawrence Kasdan's I Love You to Death. Cheryl's name was not even mentioned in the credits.
In the same year, David Lynch invites her to play Laura Palmer in the pilot episode of the television series "Twin Peaks". In 1995, Cheryl was engaged in the drama Notes from the Underground, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. In 1996, Sherrill played the role of Helga Noth in Mother Night, an adaptation of Kurt Vonengut's novel Mother Darkness. In 1998, she co-starred with James Woods and Daniel Baldwin in the film Vampires by John Carpenter. The role of the prostitute Katherine, who gradually became a vampire, earned Cheryl a nomination for the Saturn Award (US Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Film Awards) in the category "Best Supporting Actress" .
