Born 1962 - American director and producer who has achieved success through his documentaries and television projects.
Cutler graduated from Harvard University and began his career as a theater director in the 1980s before moving on to documentary projects in the 1990s.
In 2001 he won an Emmy for his reality television series American High.
In 2007, he produced and directed the documentary "The September Issue", for the plot of the film which was based on the material about the preparation for printing of the September 2007 issue of Vogue, which became the largest glossy magazine in the entire history of the publication.
In 2012, he executive produced and directed the critically acclaimed ABC pilot Nashville and two years later the member only pilot, also for ABC.
In 2014, Cutler also directed his first non-documentary, If I Stay.
