Born October 22, 1955, New York is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor.

began his screenwriting career as a screenwriter for low budget films such as Strange Behavior (1981) and Strange Aliens (1983). His directorial debut was Sister, Sister (1987), a gothic mystery movie starring Eric Stolz and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Condon subsequently directed several TV thrillers, including Murder No. 101 (1990), in which Pierce Brosnan played. During this period he also wrote the screenplay for the thriller F / X2 (1991), directed by Richard Franklin.

After filming Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (1995), which became an imitation of the horror film by Bernard Rose, Bill Condon becomes famous. He earned even greater fame with his next film "Gods and Monsters", which he not only directed, but also wrote a script for it.
