Born December 29, 1976, Statesboro, Georgia, USA - American actor, producer, screenwriter and director.
In 2006 he co-wrote the low-budget comedy "Foot Fist Way, The", which he co-wrote with friends Jody Hill and Ben Best. As his character Fred Simmons, the actor appeared on Late Night with Connan O'Brian in February 2008.
He also wrote the sitcom Eastbound & Down (2009) and played the protagonist Kenny Powers, a former league baseball player who is constantly at odds with the world around him. After the release of the second season, McBride was offered to sign a contract with the Pensacola Pelicans, a member of the professional baseball league, and in 2010 the actor became the face of the K-Swiss shoe company.
