Born August 29, 1981, Beleuil, Belgium - Belgian actress.
From the age of eight she attended courses in diction and oratory at the Academy of Music in Bodur. From 1994 to 1996, Deckyenne worked in the theatrical workshop Theatre La Releve, where she first tried herself as an actress. In 1999, Emily starred in the Dardenne brothers' Rosetta. The film was awarded the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and Emily won the Best Actress Award. In 2001, Deckyenne starred in the historical thriller "Brotherhood of the Wolf", where her partners on the set were Marc Dacascos, Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci.
