Born July 30, 1966, Wellington, New Zealand - New Zealand actress and screenwriter.
The first appearance of the actress was a cameo appearance in the television series Tales from the Crypt in 1989, followed immediately by a cameo appearance in the TV series Night of the Red Huntsman, where Kerry played a police officer.
In 1990, Kerry Fox made her film debut with a role in New Zealand director Jane Campion's drama Angel at My Table. This picture is the adaptation of the autobiography of the writer Janet Frame, where Kerry played the main role of the adult Janet, received positive reviews from critics and a number of prizes at film festivals, including the one in Venice. The next successful project for Carrie was the drama "Intimate", for which she won the Silver Bear Award for Best Actress in 2001. Since 2000, Kerry Fox has starred mainly in independent films and television films. In 2009, Kerry appeared as the mother of the protagonist in Jane Campion's Star Shining. In the same year she starred in the film "The Tempest" by Hans-Christian Schmid.
