Born June 12, 1962, Pawtucket, Rhode Island is an American animator, director, producer, actor, and screenwriter.
Graduated from the California Institute of the Arts. Immediately after graduation, he left for Taiwan for six months, where he worked on the cartoon "The Brave Little Toaster." Returning to the United States, Lima met a colleague in the workshop, Glen Keane, who persuaded him to offer himself to the Disney studio - so Lima did and did not lose. Since 2008, Kevin Lima has been professionally inactive, but in 2014 it was reported that in March 2017 a new work by Lima will be released: the animated musical "Monkeys from Mumbai" in the Bollywood style. In 2015, it was reported that work on this painting was suspended.
