Crossfire is the famous pet of Mausoleum Records. The group is originally from East Flanders, the city of Aalst. In today's foreign market for Belgian metal, this team is today the main supplier. Previously, the group was called The Onion Dolls, but since 1980 they decided to rename the group to modern Crossfire. The first line-up of the group consisted of four people: guitarists Mark Van Kahlenberg and Nero Neerinks, bassist Van Londersele and vocalist and drummer Peter De Vinta. This group, like most representatives of continental Europe, was strongly influenced by NWOBHM, but due to Peter's high vocal timbre, as well as Mark's inimitable unique guitar exercises, the Belgian collective was still able to stand out from the gray monotonous rock crowd.

Even now you can listen to online Crossfire the first compositions released by the group in 1982, with which they declared themselves to the world. These songs were included in a compilation album titled Metal Clogs, which Rave-On Records helped to release. In the same period, there were changes in the composition of the team. Nero was convicted of the murder of a police officer, and Rudy Van De Sipe took his place. Also, the role of drummer was now entrusted to Chris De Brower, and Peter became the showman of the band.

The metamorphosis of the line-up did not affect the performance of Crossfire, and they continued to perform actively, which made their fans incredibly happy. And just crowds of fans gathered to watch Crossfire performances. Several times the group also managed to play together with teams from the major league. As a result, Crossfire was noticed by Leo Felsenstein - founder of Mausoleum Records. And the rock band became one of the first representatives of the new label. Leo also produced the band's first album, See You In Hell.

Crossfire music is a rude, rather perky Euro heavy, which periodically accelerates to the speed of speed metal. Their compositions are incredibly pleasing to heavy music lovers, but, unfortunately, now the team has broken up. It is known that Peter opened his studio in Antwerp, another member, Rudy, created his own metal band called Native Instinct. As for the other members of the collective, they have lost their fame, and information about their fate is unknown.
