Born March 4, 1973 in Fremont, California is an American film director, screenwriter and producer.
He began his career as an assistant director to Roland Emmerich. He has worked with him on Stargate, Independence Day and Godzilla.
In 2003, Len Wiseman directed Underworld. Although the film received generally negative reviews from film critics, its gross was quite high. In 2006, Wiseman directed the next film in the Underworld: Evolution franchise. In the third and fourth parts of this film series (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and Underworld: Awakening), Len became a producer.
In 2007, Len Wiseman directed Die Hard 4 starring Bruce Willis. The film received good reviews in general and grossed a good box office.
In 2010, Wiseman directed the pilot for Hawaii 5.0.
In August 2012, Wiseman's new blockbuster Total Recall was released. In September 2012, Universal Pictures announced that Len would be directing the reboot of the mummy film, but the director refused to direct the sequel.
