They formed in 1998 and since then have played what can be described as atmospheric gothic metal with dark rock elements and German-language lyrics. Their unbeatable sound combines modern synthesizers and hard guitars with the magnificent melancholic voice of vocalist Dennis Mikus. EISHEILIG caught the attention of the German press even before the deal with NAPALM RECORDS and was featured as a '' Newcomer sans Record Deal '' at the Ninth Annual Wave-Gothic Festival in Leipzig (Germany) and at the Euro-Rock Festival in the capital of Belgium.
