Born October 1, 1966, Rome, Italy - Italian theater, film, and television actor.
Educated at the acting school of the theater "La Scaletta" in Rome. After graduating in 1985, he moved to New York, from where he returned to Italy in the late 1980s; made several trips to India between 1987 and 1991.
In 1986 he made his television debut in the film "The Rose" directed by Tomaso Sherman. He played his first film role in 1990, starring in the thriller "The Secret" by Francesco Naselli, where he played the role of one of the lovers of the heroine Nastassja Kinski.
Significant acting work for Stefano Dionisi was the role of the opera singer of the 18th century Carlo Broschi, known as Farinelli in the biopic Farinelli-Castrat (1994, directed by Gerard Corbier) .
