Singing Panties is a Ukrainian female group performing pop songs. It was created by Andrey Kuzmenko (Scriabin) in 2008. He decided that there are many female groups in the Ukrainian stage, which, first of all, are distinguished by vivid external data, rather than vocal ones, and wanted to "shake" this cliche. Scriabin announced a casting, the main conditions in which were: size 3 breasts, choreographic skills and the optional ability to sing. Two participants were selected even before the casting - Victoria Kovalchuk and Olga Lizgunova, they were familiar with the producer. In 2010, they performed in the semifinals of the New Wave competition, where the jury selected them to represent Ukraine in the final of the competition. Because of their name, the girls had problems in the final, they were offered to change it, but they refused. Also, the girls were forbidden to perform the song "Like Alla", dedicated to Ale Pugacheva. But at the end of the competition, they were awarded a special prize - a certificate, thanks to which they can create their own video, which will be broadcast on the Muz-TV channel. After the competition, Igor Krutoy signed a contract with them until 2014 inclusive. Since 2010, the group has been actively filming clips, and in 2013 Singing Panties applied for participation in Eurovision, but the selection was stopped. In 2014, on April 1, the premiere of a single entitled "Mu-mu" took place, which they performed in a duet with their producer Andrey Kuzmenko. In 2010 for the song "Like Alla" they received the prestigious prize of the "Song of the Year" competition. In August 2012, the girls were awarded the RU prize.
