June 28, 1937 - February 18, 2006 - American actor.
From the age of 18, he began acting in television series and films. Richard starred in The Godfather (1972) directed by Francis Ford Coppola, in which he played the role of Michael Corleone's bodyguard to Al Neri. Later he played this role in the films The Godfather 2 (1974) and The Godfather 3 (1990). He also starred in films such as Escape (1972), Hair (1979), The Punisher (1983), Once Upon a Time in America (1984), Red Heat (1988) .
The first wife was Eliza Granis from 1957 to 1960, one child was born. On 28 August 1967 he was married to Sue Dee Wallace. From June 11, 1977, his wife was the actress Rutanya Alda, who gave birth to one child.
On February 18, 2006, Richard Bright was hit by a bus while crossing the street. The actor got under the rear wheel, the driver, not noticing this, continued to move.
