Born January 1, 1972 is an American actress and singer of Canadian descent.
Grew up in the United States, attended the Alabama State School of Art. In high school, she began working as an assistant producer, after graduation she became an actress. Her first major work was the 1988 television film A Father's Homecoming. Hale then moved to Hollywood, where, since 1993, she was involved in voice acting for various roles in games, animated series, commercials, anime and films. For this, in particular, she used the pseudonym "Karen Lehning" (Carren Learning). Hale voiced Bastila Shan in BioWare's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, as well as the female version of Jaden Korr in Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, the female version of Shepard in all parts of the Mass Effect game, for which she was nominated for " Best Voice Actress ”at the 2010 and 2012 Spike Video Game Awards.
