Zukri graduated with honors from Science Hill High School in 1995 and graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in History and Political Science in 1999.
In college, Zukri took acting lessons and his teacher noticed Matt's good ability for dramatic roles. During his first television role in Young Americans, Matt met actress Kate Bosworth, whom he met in 2000-2002. Since 2004, Zukri has been involved in the successful Gilmore Girls television series, where he played the role of Logan Gunzberger.
In 2009, Matt landed the role of Harvard graduate attorney Keri Agos in The Good Wife .
